Ned Adams
Born on August 2, 2003, Ned Adams is a 23 year old emerging stone carver originally from Kujuaaq. He moved to Montreal at the age of 18 and has been living in the city ever since. Inspired by the need to have new experiences and to occupy his time, Ned started carving at the start of the year 2026, first under the mentorship of established inuk carver, Simiuni Nauya, then followed by his current mentor Peter Sharky. During his short time carving, making mostly inukshuk, but practicing more experienced techniques, he found himself in love with the act of creating something meaningful and important that represents him and the landscape of where he comes from.
