Riel Benn

As an artist from the Sioux Birdtail First Nation in Manitoba, he has received several awards and distinctions. Painting since he was 16 years old, his career quickly took off.

His works have travelled to Ireland, Italy, New Zealand and Australia and are acquired by companies, universities and private collectors from around the world. In 2016, the public admired his «Classic Rock» series at the Montreal First People’s festival.

From his studio in his community, Riel continues to work on what he does best, expressing his life, dreams, ideas, passions and joys on canvases that have become his playground.
